San Diego Shark Diving Expeditions, Inc

Just wanted to compliment you on a great product. I know it was an unusual use of your Dock Shock systems, but they worked beautifully. We tied them to our white sharks cages to keep them away from the dive boat's swim step. They not only did that job wonderfully, but also moderatd any of the jerking the dive boat would transfer down the shark cages. This was especially important to the photographers inside the cages who were taking images of the huge white sharks passing in front of the cages. A steady camera makes for fantatastic shot of the ocean's "ultimate predator".

Still looking for some pictures to send you.
I'll keep you posted.

Thanks again for a terrific product.

On July 14, 2001, at the Gravenhurst Wooden Boat Show, we purchased one of your new Dock-Calm Units. You requested we send you pictures of the unit in use.
We are in a very busy, "Big Dog Channel", which runs from Honey Harbour to Bowler Bay and the National Park. Your unit works perfectly when a spring line is attached fore, aft and center.
We have had many people drop in to the end of the dock to inquire about the unit. You may wish to send us some brochures to hand out.

Thank You
Sincerely, Gordon T. Hanson

Dear Jack:
I don't have a sailboat, but do have a Bayliner 3888 (1989) and a unique antique, a 26ft custom gentleman's fishing utility designed by my dad and built for him by F.S.Crate a Sons (Keswick Ont), and launched in 1954. I have two Dock Shocks from you, a 4 foot and a 6 foot. I mostly use them on the 38 footer. Not only do they prevent wave and wake damage to my boat, but when visiting friends in the 1000 islands who have docks which are floating or may not be hugely strong, the Dock Shocks protect the docks as well from being damaged by the impact of my boat when tour boats pass by too quickly. One friend insists that I use them, so that the anchors for his dock do not get gradually moved by impulses.
On the whole, these simple devices give me more confidence to use the whole range of docking sites available, knowing that if the wind changes, I can rig them instead of moving somewhere else. In this way they actually expand our cruising options.

I would like to thank you for the installation on my Lowe 20' Pontoon boat. The shock works extremely well and keeps my craft away from the dock and riding nicely in the winds from all directions. It is moored on West Lake south of Bloomfield near the Sandbanks Provincial Park. Being downwind it gets the full force of the normal south to south west winds. The shock is easy to put in place and remove. I find the idea that taking it with you when cruising to other areas and using it there a bonus. The quick connect for the dock is also a nice feature. Several others have been checking it out and seem interested. In general I find it an excellent product with great service on your part and an excellent warranty.

Thanks Again

Jack ,
The DockShocks are working great. They held the houseboat off the 4th of July weekend, while it was regularly being beat with 2-3 foot waves fromOcean-going yachts. Then they held out for the remants of Hurricane Dennis, although the winds never got much above 40 mph.I think a really key piece of the DockShoks working so well is the drawing you sent on how to tie the boat to the dock with the snubbers and the cross lines that run the length of the boat. These three components working together really make it easy on the dock, & the houseboat is very stable. When I get a chance I will send pictures. I am a satisfied customer. Thanks -Todd Shuttleworth
